Optometrist.

Dr. Buma is originally from Massachusetts. For his undergraduate education, he attended Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. 

He attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating with honors as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. Dr. Buma then completed his optometric residency at the Providence VA Medical Center. 

Dr. Buma is well-trained in treatment and management of a wide array of ocular diseases, with a particular interest in geriatric care and glaucoma.Outside of optometry, Dr. Buma enjoys traveling, exercising, pickleball, board and card games, trivia, and visiting his distant family members.
